  2. 27 cze 2011 · I would suggest cleaning out the bolt first, and see if that helps. If you're not sure how to tear it down, just get the bolt out of the gun. Then (outside!) spray it down with some carb or brake cleaner.

Remove the magazine tube and push out the horizontal pin in the side of the receiver, pull down the lever and the whole trigger group will come right out in your hand as a complete subassembly. Now you can get in there to clean and lube everything properly.

  4. 3 kwi 2024 · I have an older Winchester model 250, 22 caliber. I have completely taken it apart, cleaned it, inspected all parts, oiled it, and reassembled. Still having the same problem. Lever action works perfectly very smooth. It will load cartridge in the barrel, but will not fire.
