14 cze 2023 · Wi-Fi 6E is an upgraded version of Wi-Fi 6, it extends Wi-Fi 6 into the 6GHz band. Wi-Fi 6E works with the same standard as Wi-Fi 6 but with an extended-spectrum. 6GHz is the new frequency band ranging from 5.925 GHz to 7.125 GHz, allowing up to 1,200 MHz of additional spectrum.
26 sty 2023 · Higher frequencies mean shorter range, and the 6-GHz frequency is so high that its range is limited to same-room or next-room connections. Once you're out of 6-GHz range, the router...

With Wi-Fi 6E, you get access to 6 or 7 more 160 MHz channels, and don’t need to use AFC or DFS if operating indoors. Range is less though, since 6 GHz attenuates faster, wider channels increase background interference, and 6 GHz indoor low-power AP transmit power is limited.
30 paź 2024 · Using OFDMA, a Wi-Fi network can reduce network latency. Since Wi-Fi 6E uses OFDMA in a brand new wider spectrum in 6GHz space, it reduces the latency significantly. Also, Wi-Fi 6E moves the newer Wi-Fi 6E compliant clients to the 6GHz spectrum, it opens up bandwidth and spectrum for legacy clients. Thus resulting in reduced network latency ...
switching between the 5Ghz and 6GHz network? It highly depends on the cellphone itself, Deco XE75 currently won’t suggest a client to switch from one frequency to another.
