On PC. - Restarted Internet and Laptop. - Logged out of Microsoft account on laptop and logged back in again. - Uninstalled Xbox app and re-installed. - Reset time and date settings. - Opened settings and ticked 'Enable streaming over metered network' - Checked for updates in Xbox app. On Xbox Series X.
When you test your network connection (on Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings), you may see an error indicated under Current Network Status. These may include notifications such as NAT Type: Strict, UPnP not successful , or Double NAT detected .
