Go to your file explorer and go through users->yourname->documents->Gamemaker Studio 2-> (all of your projects should be in here for every game you've ever made) If on the off chance it isn't there, check your recycling bin.
27 maj 2024 · If you just move the folder without changing the name, then that should be fine. But if you change the name as well, that can be unsafe. We have a lot of threads like this and this about projects breaking after renaming the top-level folder and/or the main YYP file.
The File System. You can turn off sandboxing on the desktop targets (Windows, macOS and Ubuntu (Linux)) from the Game Options for the chosen platform, meaning that you can then save and load from anywhere, within the limits of the OS permissions.
19 cze 2017 · If you are using GMS1, backups are found in "My Documents\GameMaker\Backups" and are enabled by default. If you are using older versions of GameMaker, backups are found as .gb1...gb9 versions of the same file and may or may not be enabled by default.
14 lip 2019 · You have it in your Steam library, and that means that you can still verify the integrity of GameMaker: Studio's application files to get any missing files for it back and/or entirely un-install it and then re-install it through your Steam library.

31 lip 2021 · Well my game decided that it wasn't having it anymore and completely disappeared. I can load the save, but there are no assets or anything. I can still go to the folder and see that all the assets are in the folder, but the save file wont load any of them up when I open the game.
