Would’ve went with AA but the two flights available were too long of a layover in Madrid and the Iberia flight made the most efficient travel time. This is where it gets ridiculous for us: we bought the flight on AA (operated by Iberia) and sprang for main economy for the baggage and seat selection.

9 sty 2024 · Iberia flies transatlantic routes as well as European routes (and quite possibly also to Africa, Asia, etc.). The table of destinations in the Wikipedia entry for Madrid-Barajas Airport has a long list of destinations you can reach on Iberia.
Unfortunately I ended up not booking it. I tried to transfer my points to Iberia and got blocked. I accidentally put in the incorrect account number (Iberia doesn't make it very clear what number is your account number). I tried to resolve it with Chase, but it has yet to be resolved.
2 maj 2018 · Iberia flies from Spain and to and from many Latin America countries. My wife and I booked a flight from Barcelona, Spain to Miami, which had a stopover in Madrid. When we got to Barcelona airport, there were no signs when you get in the terminal directing you to any airline.
10 mar 2019 · Iberia is fine, Iberia is awful - just like most major airlines. This should be at or near the bottom of your list of things to worry about (it it makes the list at all). Move on to other concerns.
