2 maj 2018 · Before flying on Iberia, I thought Spirit was the worst airline I ever used. Iberia now takes first place. Iberia flies from Spain and to and from many Latin America countries. My wife and I booked a flight from Barcelona, Spain to Miami, which had a stopover in Madrid.
10 mar 2019 · Recently, I tried to log on to my avios account and found it impossible for three days to do so. so, if it's just the flight, it should be fine. But, if, heaven forbid, you have to change your ticket or do anything else, it's going to be a total hassle.
5 paź 2023 · Iberia Airlines is a safe option to fly within/outside Spain as it implies the best rules. Additionally, it has certified and well-trained staff to ensure maximum security when passengers are at the airport and on the flight.

And as mentioned above, they are also the main, “legacy” airline for Spain, not that either of those things automatically explain expensive rates. A “budget” airline in Spain is Vueling. Maybe they have lower prices to Madrid.
Just flew with Iberia from Madrid to the US. My biggest issue with them was that their website and online system for US re-entry is… rough to say the least. For example, I filled out their version of the US COVID attestation form, and the pdf that was generated from the form missed one of my answers.
