9 sty 2024 · Iberia happens to be a partner airline with BA, for what that’s worth. And as mentioned above, they are also the main, “legacy” airline for Spain, not that either of those things automatically explain expensive rates. A “budget” airline in Spain is Vueling. Maybe they have lower prices to Madrid.
I made a reddit account just to make a comment on this thread- just got off Iberia flight last night and will never fly again. First off, we were confused because the first leg of the flight were operated under Vueling (Zurich>Barcelona). 2nd leg of the flight (Barcelona>SFO) was operated under FlyLevel.
10 mar 2019 · Iberia is fine, Iberia is awful - just like most major airlines. This should be at or near the bottom of your list of things to worry about (it it makes the list at all). Move on to other concerns.
