Worst flight of my life. I will never fly Iberia again and have advised all my friends to change flights. After we got married we had a flight planned to Portugal, when we arrived to the check in we were told “I see a reservation but I don’t see a ticket” - which means fucking what?
Iberia is a nightmare. I use them occasionally to increase points and tier points on BA/Avios from the UK by flying via Madrid, and the prices can be pretty good, but even though they are both parts of IAG BA and Iberia don't really talk to each other. I once paid to about EUR80 upgrade an Iberia flight to business class.
10 mar 2019 · Iberia is fine, Iberia is awful - just like most major airlines. This should be at or near the bottom of your list of things to worry about (it it makes the list at all). Move on to other concerns.
2 maj 2018 · Before flying on Iberia, I thought Spirit was the worst airline I ever used. Iberia now takes first place. Iberia flies from Spain and to and from many Latin America countries. My wife and I booked a flight from Barcelona, Spain to Miami, which had a stopover in Madrid.
Despite its turbulent past, Iberia flights is safe nowadays, and you shouldn't worry too much when flying with them. Nonetheless, Iberia air has had at least four severe accidents throughout its career in which many passengers and crew members tragically lost their lives.
From reading the last comment would it be a foolish move to buy a new ticket for Iberia and claim refund from Iberia. Fears Iberia may be canceling flights as much as BA. Now passengers need to have Covid tests paid before leaving and complete firm.
Updated August 2024. Iberia is the Spanish flag carrier. Funny enough, through all my years of travel I’ve never flown Iberia until just a few months ago when I flew them Malaga – Madrid – Mexico City (and back). So here’s my Iberia Airlines review: the good, the unusual and the bad.
