Just a rant, sorry, but first time using them and compared to every US airline (yes, EVERY) and many other international ones, Iberia is the worst by far.
I've never had good or bad in-flight experience on Iberia. I've flown them across the Atlantic and intra Europe. Got me from Point A to Point B. My qualms are their antiquated website/IT system and passport control upon arrival in MAD.
You can blame Iberia if you want, but it’s well known you’re likely to end up in this situation when booking through a third party like Expedia. Sorry you’re going through this and hope you get the resolution you’re looking for!
All the things I liked about flying Iberia between Madrid and London. As you just read, there are some very interesting (and good) things about the Iberia experience. 9 sty 2024 · Iberia advertised a connection from Madrid to Bilbao with a short layover after my the flight from Miami to Madrid. When I purchased the ticket on their website, the flight was not what I purchased but a later flight with a much longer layover, 6 hours.
Despite its turbulent past, Iberia flights is safe nowadays, and you shouldn't worry too much when flying with them. Nonetheless, Iberia air has had at least four severe accidents throughout its career in which many passengers and crew members tragically lost their lives.
