I've flown Iberia long distance several times (Madrid-LA, Paris-LA) over the years, and a few shorter flights in Europe. I thought it was better than most. Website, admittedly not great, but I never had OP's issues.
After a lot of manual searching, I was able to find some flights I’m interested in on Iberia. They seem to have the best value for point redemption. However, their reviews are terrible.
If you fly Iberia, your connection will be through modern terminals 4 and 4s. If you decide to connect to Aeroméxico in Madrid, you’ll have to connect through crappy old Terminal 1. 9 sty 2024 · Level flies short-haul to a handful of western European cities, and long-haul to a handful of American cities plus Chile and Argentina. Iberia is fine, it's like any other airline. Some people have good experiences, others don't.
Despite its turbulent past, Iberia flights is safe nowadays, and you shouldn't worry too much when flying with them. Nonetheless, Iberia air has had at least four severe accidents throughout its career in which many passengers and crew members tragically lost their lives.
2 maj 2018 · I was a bit skeptical flying Iberia but was very pleasantly surprised. My only issue was the leg room in economy. The service was efficient and we actually came into JFK 25minutes ahead of schedule on my return leg. I would fly Iberia again and again!
