I've flown Iberia long distance several times (Madrid-LA, Paris-LA) over the years, and a few shorter flights in Europe. I thought it was better than most. Website, admittedly not great, but I never had OP's issues.
Usually each fly three times daily between the two cities but on this day Aeromexico only flew 1 flight and it was arriving early in the morning. The Iberia flight I chose was leaving Malaga at 9 am, had a 2 hour stopover in Madrid, and arrived in Mexico City at 5:30 PM local time.
9 sty 2024 · Iberia has been trending on top of on-time performance for European airlines. I’m not familiar with the credit issue mentors above, but the flexibility of credits is why I always try to book through US airlines, even if I’ll be flying a foreign partner’s plane.
Despite its turbulent past, Iberia flights is safe nowadays, and you shouldn't worry too much when flying with them. Nonetheless, Iberia air has had at least four severe accidents throughout its career in which many passengers and crew members tragically lost their lives.
After a lot of manual searching, I was able to find some flights I’m interested in on Iberia. They seem to have the best value for point redemption. However, their reviews are terrible.
2 maj 2018 · I was a bit skeptical flying Iberia but was very pleasantly surprised. My only issue was the leg room in economy. The service was efficient and we actually came into JFK 25minutes ahead of schedule on my return leg. I would fly Iberia again and again!
10 mar 2019 · Recently, I tried to log on to my avios account and found it impossible for three days to do so. so, if it's just the flight, it should be fine. But, if, heaven forbid, you have to change your ticket or do anything else, it's going to be a total hassle.
