It happened on all of my Iberia flights. The Spanish like to stow their bags in the front rows. On both of my long haul flights I got to my seat and saw that there was no room for my overhead luggage. How can this be? It was especially bad on the Mexico City – Madrid flight where I was in row 4.
Experience with Iberia? I’m looking into booking a trip to Spain this spring. After a lot of manual searching, I was able to find some flights I’m interested in on Iberia. They seem to have the best value for point redemption. However, their reviews are terrible.
10 mar 2019 · Iberia is fine, Iberia is awful - just like most major airlines. This should be at or near the bottom of your list of things to worry about (it it makes the list at all). Move on to other concerns.
9 sty 2024 · Iberia advertised a connection from Madrid to Bilbao with a short layover after my the flight from Miami to Madrid. When I purchased the ticket on their website, the flight was not what I purchased but a later flight with a much longer layover, 6 hours.
Despite its turbulent past, Iberia flights is safe nowadays, and you shouldn't worry too much when flying with them. Nonetheless, Iberia air has had at least four severe accidents throughout its career in which many passengers and crew members tragically lost their lives.
