Experience with Iberia? I’m looking into booking a trip to Spain this spring. After a lot of manual searching, I was able to find some flights I’m interested in on Iberia. They seem to have the best value for point redemption. However, their reviews are terrible.
9 sty 2024 · Iberia advertised a connection from Madrid to Bilbao with a short layover after my the flight from Miami to Madrid. When I purchased the ticket on their website, the flight was not what I purchased but a later flight with a much longer layover, 6 hours.
2 maj 2018 · I was a bit skeptical flying Iberia but was very pleasantly surprised. My only issue was the leg room in economy. The service was efficient and we actually came into JFK 25minutes ahead of schedule on my return leg. I would fly Iberia again and again!
According to Skift, Iberia’s on time performance in 2018 was 90.05%. Delays averaged 33.7 minutes. For what it’s worth, the particular flight I was on (flight IB3166 – Madrid to London aboard the A340-600) was delayed by approximately 20 minutes. Iberia has over 1000+ flights every day to 135 destinations in 47 countries.
While Iberia flights are relatively cheap, they're not exactly fitting to be called the low-cost airlines. Iberia Express is their ultra low-cost airlines option, which operates short and medium routes. Is Iberia better than Ryanair?
10 mar 2019 · Iberia is fine, Iberia is awful - just like most major airlines. This should be at or near the bottom of your list of things to worry about (it it makes the list at all). Move on to other concerns.
