9 sty 2024 · The only thing to know with Iberia is that they aren’t signed up for TSA pre-check. This is a thing I just learned- airlines have to sign in to the program or you have to take your shoes off like everyone else. If the ticket price or schedule with Iberia works well then it’s a minor inconvenience, but something to be aware of.
2 maj 2018 · Before flying on Iberia, I thought Spirit was the worst airline I ever used. Iberia now takes first place. Iberia flies from Spain and to and from many Latin America countries. My wife and I booked a flight from Barcelona, Spain to Miami, which had a stopover in Madrid.
I've flown Iberia long distance several times (Madrid-LA, Paris-LA) over the years, and a few shorter flights in Europe. I thought it was better than most. 10 mar 2019 · I recently was rebooked on Iberia after a mechanical problem on Swiss Air. I tend to rate carrier on how they handle when things go wrong. Problems happen, but how do you approach the problems and address the customer? I have found Iberia to be horrible.
Unfortunately I ended up not booking it. I tried to transfer my points to Iberia and got blocked. I accidentally put in the incorrect account number (Iberia doesn't make it very clear what number is your account number). I tried to resolve it with Chase, but it has yet to be resolved.
Iberia is another unregulated company. Under the UK consumer law, the customer has the right to claim their money back before the end of the 30 days after purchase. I booked an extra bag and called 20min later to cancel it because I made the mistake of selecting the return trip and not the outbound trip.
Despite its turbulent past, Iberia flights is safe nowadays, and you shouldn't worry too much when flying with them. Nonetheless, Iberia air has had at least four severe accidents throughout its career in which many passengers and crew members tragically lost their lives.
