As a practical matter, I've found that IB customer service is not so bad if you find the right person, however that is very difficult and few IB staff have the authority to do anything ... which leads to much of the poor service.
2 maj 2018 · Before flying on Iberia, I thought Spirit was the worst airline I ever used. Iberia now takes first place. Iberia flies from Spain and to and from many Latin America countries. My wife and I booked a flight from Barcelona, Spain to Miami, which had a stopover in Madrid.
9 sty 2024 · Iberia also changed the terms of the ticket, even though it stated the fare was able to be refunable (not the cheapest ticket) and could be changed. Very distressing. Proceed at your own risk.
Unfortunately I ended up not booking it. I tried to transfer my points to Iberia and got blocked. I accidentally put in the incorrect account number (Iberia doesn't make it very clear what number is your account number). I tried to resolve it with Chase, but it has yet to be resolved.

We had the worst experience ever with Iberia with a taste of racism. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced in my whole entire life. In short, we upgraded to business class, and paid the full amount using my card.
Iberia: Bad. I have sued them two times in 6 years because they always refuse to pay the legal penalties they have to pay for long delays. First time it took two years, second time, the issue happened in december 2021 and still am in a legal process.
