29 lis 2013 · Hi All: After using Biotene's toothpaste, mouth spray, and (especially) the oral gel for over a year now, I just had a heck of a time finding any products left on the shelf in drugstores...amazon sellers' prices (especially for shipping) have gone way up.
I contacted the Biotene (Haleon USA) and they confirmed a shortage (specifically asking about the spray): We can confirm that we are experiencing an availability issue with the product. It is expected to be back in stock by April 11.2023. Please be advised that it may take a few weeks for the product to filter down through your local retailers.

So, what to do? I have switched to a moisturizing gel from a company called Oral7 -- recently only available abroad (not in the USA), and I order it in bulk online from a pharmacy in Australia called Chemist Warehouse. This gel is not irritating like the Biotene gel is, and it does contain the necessary enzymes for proper moisturizing function.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who has used biotene dry mouth gel and has been unable to find any because it was recently discontinued. Wondering if anyone else has tried or found any other dry mouth gel that’s worked for them?
For those of us who suffer from dry mouth from our cancer treatments, rely on saliva substitutes . I have been using the Biotene products for over twelve years. Now I can't find it and if I do, retailers. are asking high prices for it. I just ordered a new gel product. Hoping this will work.
