The only parts of this response that are true about doctors and not those other professions are wanting to pursue the highest level of schooling/training and wanting to be a leader of a medical team. And those are perfectly valid reasons for wanting to be a doctor instead of a PA/nurse.
The main reason to become a doctor instead of a nurse – although people will often argue money, prestige, and leadership – is to gain an advanced scientific understanding of the principles behind the disease.
