Michele Angelo Besso (Riesbach, 25 May 1873 – Geneva, 15 March 1955) was a Swiss-Italian engineer [1] best known for working closely with Albert Einstein.
Michele Angelo Besso (Born May 25,1873) was a Swiss/Italian engineer of Jewish/Italian descent. In 1896, Einstein and Besso met at a musical gathering in Zurich. At the time, both were studying electrical engineering there at the Federal Polytechnic Institute.
Einstein’s best friend was a Swiss mathematician named Michele Besso. The two met in their early twenties while studying at the Polytechnic Institute in Zurich. From the moment they met, a deep bond formed between them, and they remained close friends for over five decades.
Michele Besso was a close friend of Albert Einstein during his days at the Federal Polytechnic Institute in Zurich. Later, Einstein endorsed Besso for a position at the patent office in Bern, and eventually, the two worked there together and grew closer to each other.
