11 mar 2007 · I've used the MXT for about 4 years and have three different coils for this machine, the best of the bunch is the Whites Eclipse Deep Scan 1400 which is 14" x 8". It's a little heavy but a fantastic coil, I've had finds down to 10" and the pinpointing is pretty good.
2 wrz 2019 · The White's Super Pulse 220 coil was intended by me for beach use only. I was surprised that it performed so well on the goldfields. Quiet and stable with good performance in hot ground.

A small elliptical coil is best for trashy areas. And at salt-water beaches, a DD coil is needed to eliminate much of the mineralization found there. I think the M6 should come stock with either the Eclipse DD (6x10) or the Super 12 coil. I am 5’10”, so I need to extend the detectors’ rods to their max length.
20 sie 2013 · White's makes a 15" coil for the XLT but it is rather heavy and depending where you might be hunting it could be difficult swinging. The stock coil (9.50) is a good all around coil. It trashy locations I have found the 4"X6" DD is a killer on coins.

21 cze 2018 · The White's TDI in pure PI mode is one of the most powerful straight PI detectors available. The tone differences between targets disappear, and sometimes the ability to differentiate targets is more important than the depth gained by shutting the ground balance system off.
