For the design itself, I primarily tried to bridge Whisper's design with his look from shadowside, taking the suit, yellow eyes and slight canines. I also put in a little pride heart/ally pin. Got that idea from u/River_Tides although unlike them, my Whisper actually has a shirt and it's not just stabbed into him XP
Usapyon (Japanese: USAピョン USApyon) is a 'Merican Yo-kai of the Shady tribe. In Yo-kai Watch!, he is now a Onechanside Yo-kai of the Uwanosora tribe. Usapyon wears a yellow spacesuit that has rabbit-like ears on the hood, and he carries a small orange ray gun modeled after a carrot.
Before the yokai watch shadowside anime takes place, whisper works for Lord Enma. My theory on why whisper’s appearance has changed so much and how he looks stronger and creepier was because he was trained by Enma to always be in his shadowside form for maximum performance.
