Since the majority of PCSX2 users don't have 360 controllers, direct input is the best option here. For Shadow of the Colossus the game is more stable in 1.5.0, I run it in DX11 HW mode with 3X internal res. with static 60 FPS, 1.4.0 run it at 45-55 FPS on the same settings.
Hi all, I' m wondering if there is a site out there that lists recommended options for specific games to make them run the best in PCSX2 through RetroArch? The PCSX2 site has a compatibility wiki pages for all of the ps2 games which also lists some specific settings to be used for a game. Here is the link to the PCSX2's compatibility section.
Turn off any sort of power saving plan you have in windows and use the high performance one. Turn off whisper mode in GeForce experience (if applicable). Use mtvu if the game is compatible with it. Otherwise your specs seems to be really good.

9 kwi 2019 · Hardware is better for performance, and allows upscaling for video quality improvements. Software is very hard in performance and has no upscaling capabilities, but is more accurate since it can be made to do things that a GPU can't explicitly do with it's fixed unit and shader cores.
3 lip 2018 · you'll get full fps in most games most of the time with default settings. Don't use speedhacks unless you get slowdowns even in native. I don’t really want to run everything max, just better res at 1080p minimum and any other bells and whistles my spec can manage without performance drops.
29 sty 2011 · I'm currently trying to play my all time favorite game, Final Fantasy X, on the PCSX2 emulator and I'm constantly running at around 35-40 FPS, about 70-80% of optimal performance. Does anyone know what sort of settings I should be looking into configuring to optimize game performance?
