For users with apps to control their TV and Home Theater setup, they essentially have an all in full color touch screen remote. Last night I had SmartGlass running on the left side of my Windows 8 device while checking emails/IM on the right. It was handy to be able to control the show from my desktop. It's just handy to have lots of options.

Recently, the 360 homescreen just changed layout. Does anyone else have the same issue? Reference: I have not changed anything in settings, neither on the device nor on my accoubt elsewhere, and no update was received either.
