14 mar 2018 · Writers’ Tears – Copper Pot is triple distilled from 60% Single Pot Still and 40% Single Malt whiskey (there is no grain whiskey). It is non-peated, matured and aged in American Oak bourbon casks.

Writers’ Tears is a range of independently bottled Irish whiskey by Walsh Whiskey, a company founded by husband and wife team Rosemary and Bernard Walsh in 1999 to market their Hot Irishman brand of bottled Irish Coffee.
Writers Tears is a pot still blend of whiskey sourced from a Cork distillery and was created by Bernard Walsh, who also owns the Irishman Brand. This was winner of Best Blend Under €50 in the 2013 Irish Whiskey Awards.
