There's no registry in Mac OS. However, you can find most application settings in the Library/Preferences folder. Most apps saves their settings there in separate files.

So instead, you need: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall. 6 maj 2009 · Yes, how an application stores its registration keys is entirely up to the developers of the application. Some create hidden files in your home folder. Some write it into the app bundle itself.
The product codes are not product keys, and are not license dependent - they are unique on all the machine. If you explore the registry you will find similar entries for the same software. This entry is added by the Windows Installer.
