Canyon Bicycles is a German distributor and partly manufacturer of various types of bikes based in Koblenz. The frames and forks are designed by Canyon and produced in Asia, mainly in Taiwan, while assembly, quality inspections and tests are in Koblenz.
Canyon got back to me through email and stated that their bikes are mostly built in Taiwan. This differs from what I found online in that Quest Composites build Canyons in China, at the same facility where Treks are also made.
