29 mar 2020 · I'm using a Netgear Nighthawk router as a WiFi repeater / bridge (set in bridge mode) and my laptop keeps loosing the connection .... it seems worse...
In short, the fact that your wireless connection drops periodically does not surprise me at all. The first thing I'd recommend is to run a physical cable to replace that wireless link. Next, you're using a PC as a bridge. Unless your PC is running some kind of *nix, that's going to be a problem.
20 cze 2023 · I have to restore the WiFi connection manually for it to work again. The auto-connect checkbox is checked, and when I delete the network bridge, an automatic connection is made every time I reboot (15/15 success). This is supposed to be an automatic system and the network bridge needs to exist.
28 sty 2016 · You’ll need to edit the properties of each user’s wifi adapter and change the “metric” setting from the default of “auto” and instead assign a static metric value, making sure to make that value higher than the automatic metric value assigned to the hard wired connection.
