The Plains of Abraham (French: Plaines d'Abraham) is a historic area within the Battlefields Park in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It was established on 17 March 1908.

For Quebecers of French origin, defeat on the Plains of Abraham gave form to the difficulties they would endure for the next 200 years as a minority in the country they had founded, right up until their emancipation in the 1960s.

It was fought between the French and their Indigenous allies against the British. The British won. Losing the battle was a major defeat for the French. Soon after, France lost all of Quebec. In 1763, France gave all of Canada to Britain.
A beautiful public park for the city. In 1908 the National Battlefields Commission was tasked with creating a large city park on the former military grounds spanning the Plains of Abraham between Grande Allée and the cliff overlooking the St. Lawrence River.
