Any smartphone with access to Facebook seems to have the same exact issue across the board with the back button on the app, regardless of brand or model.

It appears that Farcebook are doing something to the top bar in their app for iPad so its appearance works the same way as their app for iPhone — changes colour in Groups etc. This could be causing the functionality to temporarily stop working up there (it’s not just the back button).
