11 maj 2021 · Reflection for teachers is essentially a process of self-evaluation and learning based on experience of teaching. It involves three broad questions (Burton, 2009, p. 301): 1. What do I do? 2. How do I do it? 3. What does this mean for me, my students, and my institution?
Reflective teaching means looking at what you do in the classroom, thinking about why you do it, and thinking about if it works - a process of self-observation and self-evaluation.

It enables assessment of the “why” and “how” of the learning, and what needs to be done as a result. Reflection readily follows on from self or peer assessment.

People in these areas would think about encounters with their students, patients or clients, how these worked and what lessons they could take away.
11 lis 2020 · Overview. Gibbs' Reflective Cycle was developed by Graham Gibbs in 1988 to give structure to learning from experiences. It offers a framework for examining experiences, and given its cyclic nature lends itself particularly well to repeated experiences, allowing you to learn and plan from things that either went well or didn’t go well.
