An Object Class is a part of the standard SCP template and serves as a rough indicator for how difficult an object is to contain. In universe, Object Classes are for the purposes of identifying containment needs, research priority, budgeting, and other considerations.
Most SCP articles, especially before the Anomaly Classification System (ACS) was created, only assign a single Object Class for each anomaly. Post-ACS, most newer articles use either one or two Containment Classes: Primary and/or Secondary (also called Esoteric), plus a few additional categories.

Keter-class objects are anomalies that pose an inimical threat to the safety of Foundation personnel and the rest of mankind and either require extensive and complex procedures to contain or cannot be fully contained by the Foundation's current technology and knowledge.
