29 cze 2014 · There is not a single instance in which the 1600 9-9-9-24 didn't come in dead last. The differences ranged from "benchmark-noticeable" to "Wow that's a huge improvement". I simply don't recommend getting 1600 when the option for faster memory is there, especially if you have an IVB platform.
2 mar 2013 · It provides visual evidence for something I've been telling people for a while: that DDR3 speed has a beneficial effect on gameplay by increasing the minimum frame rate, resulting in a smoother game, and that the whole "anything above 1600 is a stupid worthless waste of money" argument is wrong.
9 wrz 2024 · The DDR means "Double Data Rate" which means it transfers data on both the rising AND falling edges of the signal (instead of just signal on vs. off). So, for example, DDR gives you the effect of 800MHz while actually still only being at 400MHz.
