AVS Update Manager 1.0 is a program developed by Online Media Technologies. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The main program executable is avsupdatemanager.exe.
If newer versions of AVS Software Navigator and AVS Update Manager are included in the single All AVS4YOU® Software in 1 Installation Package (Version: 3.2.1.137 - Release Date: 07/15/2016), that would be nice for new users.
I am running windows 7 64 bit. I have installed the avs programs to a second SSD. I seem to be unable to find the avs update manager or the avs navigator that used to be included with the installation packages. I installed the latest installation package, but it didn't install either the update manager nor the avs navigation program.
You can download AVS Update Manager manually here. When you download updates via AVS Update Manager, they are stored in the following directories: Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\AVS4YOU\ Windows Vista/7/8/10 - C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\AVS4YOU.
