PACE stands for Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy. It is a framework developed by clinical psychologist Dr. Dan Hughes over 20 years ago, aimed at developing caregivers' ability to build safe and trusting relationships with children and young people, particularly in cases where they have a history of trauma.
