The aim of this research project is to evaluate the impact of the implementation of an innovative approach to planning nursing care (referred to as the PACE Framework).
Fundamentally, excessive documentation is time-consuming and takes nurses away from providing direct patient care, and the nurses referred to this as ‘paper care and not patient care’, which caused reduced satisfaction in the nursing process.
