8 cze 2023 · The mulch kit on my 54 MMM works great on leaves. In fact, the leaves work great on the mower deck. At the end of the mowing season running through long areas of dried leaves does a great job of scouring the underside of the mower deck prior to storage.

It features a lever on top of the mower deck that opens and closes the side-discharge baffle. When the baffle is closed, the mower is set to mulch mode and will circulate the clippings, cutting them into finer pieces.
25 paź 2018 · That is the "regular" mulch kit for the HC54 deck. This is the all the time mulching kit with simple steel baffles that get bolted into place. It comes with a set of mulching blades. I have this kit on my deck and have mowed some very heavy long wet grass and it has never left a clump.

The MulchControl system includes an adjustable MulchControl baffle near the discharge chute and fixed baffles to control the flow of material under the deck. The MulchControl handle is on top of the mower deck and is used to open and close the MulchControl baffle.
