Each profile contains a specific library of drugs, as well as an appropriate pump configuration. A profile also contains hard limits that cannot be overridden during infusion programming. For the Alaris GP Guardrails Volumetric Pump only, Guardrails soft limits are available and can be overridden, based on clinical requirements.
