Guardrail infusion: Used for the administration of most continuous medication infusions and some IVPB medications. If a medication is included in the Guardrails library, the pump must be programmed as a Guardrail infusion. Medications have minimum and maximum dosage limits. If the dose is programmed above/below these limits an alert will appear.
