The DIN connector is an electrical connector that was standardized by the Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN), the German Institute for Standards, in the mid 1950s, initially with 3 pins for mono, but when stereo connections and gear appeared in late 1950s (1959 or so), versions with 5 pins or more were launched.
Yes there is, however there are two catches. It's the FTM-10R. This model has been discontinued. So, you would need to search hamfests, eBay, eHam, etc... I believe it will fit in a standard DIN slot, however it will require some careful thought in mounting it. Bonus: It has an external audio input for your iPod/music player. What's the 2nd catch?

Double-DIN stereos have more room for the controls, so they tend to be easier to use. The big differences come when the stereo has a touchscreen.
