20 gru 2021 · This paper presents a mixed methods study aimed to evaluate the effect of the “Mind the Conflict” intervention model on novice teachers’ self-awareness and sense of efficacy in conflict situations, as well as their ability to express empathy toward the “other” in the conflict.
Students will define “conflict.” Students will identify conflicts and the people involved. Begin by telling students the story of the Lilliputian rebellion in Chapter 4 of Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift.
Then, we discuss how these key practices connect with the existing CBAL framework and with related frameworks, such as Reading for Understanding (RFU; cf. O’Reilly & Sabatini, 2013; Sabatini et al., 2013). Next, we examine how an analysis of key practices can inform the structure and sequence of tasks in CBAL SBAs.
