To enable YCbCr4:2:2 (12bit) HDR from a secret menu, on the front panel hold down BD/DVD while pressing ON/STANDBY twice to switch HDMI mode from "standard" to "enhanced."

Most budget soundbars even can pass through 4k video and most HDR formats even like Dolby Vision just fine. It’s only the refresh rate of the newer game consoles that they are limited with. Save your ARC/eARC hdmi for something like a PS5 etc. that is better off hooked directly to your tv.
