10 maj 2016 · The .NET Framework has a somewhat tortuous history, and has seen a number of versions over the years. Typically, the newest version of .NET available would be included in the release of each version of Windows.
WinForms is old, but not outdated (based on Windows controls). The other GUI Framework for Windows (from Microsoft) is WPF, but it needs more training (and it should be used together with MVVM ). The next step will be MAUI (a multi-platform GUI, but deferred to 2. quarter 2022).
