11 wrz 2020 · - L/D Max (lift/drag) Best glide speed, speed with lowest drag (induced and parasitic (form, interference, surface friction)) and highest lift. When engine fails this speed gives longest glide range.
By default Microsoft Flight Simulator defines the center of lift as the model's center, which means the center of lift is (by default) defined at the ¼ root chord position. Be careful, this is only true if the modeler did in fact set the model's mesh origin to the ¼ root chord position!
Try the afterburner keybind. Or try just pulling the throttle back to normal max throttle. I believe you'll hear a click when you pass from afterburner to normal. If I remember correctly, the keybind to toggle afterburners after increasing throttle to maximum is called "toggle afterburner".
I don't use liftoff, but in other simulators i've used there was an option for throttle level which lets you determine the % of throttle in relation to 3 sticks positions: low mid and high. I've set it as Low: 0%, Mid: 50% and High: 100%.
31 sty 2021 · Angle Of Attack (AOA) in Aviation - Aircraft Compare. One of the most fundamental concepts in aerodynamics is the concept of angle of attack, also called AOA. Aerodynamics is a complex subject and there are many concepts that go into understanding precisely what the AOA is and why it is essential. ... 1 Like.
If you want to get more serious about flying a plane in a simulator and learning how, here's what I'd recommend: Learn all the steam (gauge-like) instruments in the cockpit. They all have specific purposes that help you fly better.
20 lut 2021 · In the meantime, a workaround is to go into the flight_model.cfg and divide the flap lift by 2x (there are several possible scalars for that purpose: lift_coef_flaps or lift_scalar). For me, the word several is a collection of at least three, not two.
