When and How Do I Sign Up? Unlike high school or college, LIFT offers year-round enrollment with new classes beginning monthly! We offer rolling admissions, meaning you can apply any time throughout the year and start as soon as your application is accepted.
This is a civilian fast-track school, and serves two purposes. One is to get their students their ratings. But the primary reason is to select pilots that will be successful at their airline. They’re using the school as part of the selection process much like military training programs do.
LIFT Academy offers two kinds of training programs, our flight training program and our aviation maintenance technician (AMT) apprenticeship program. Flight training can be done through the Republic Airways Career Pathway or through our Collegiate Partnerships.
Flight Training Admissions Requirements. To start at LIFT Academy, you must meet the following minimum requirements: Must be 18+ years of age. Proof of U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license. Proof of high school completion or equivalent. Obtain a valid First Class Medical.
