From what you just read today, you now know that Jesus was “in the midst” of His disciples after His resurrection. They ate with Him, talked to Him, and fellowshipped with Him. Jesus even helped them catch fish!
Jesus no longer appears in that way. But the Lord does appear in His Word, applied by His Spirit, and such an appearance is needed in order to experience His life-renewing gospel. What is the result of such an appearance? When we have seen the Lord, we cannot but speak of Him.
