13 kwi 2015 · In some post-Resurrection stories, Jesus seems distinctly physical. In one instance, he asks for something to eat (Lk 24:41). In another, as we have seen, he shows Thomas his wounds: “Put your finger here and see my hands,” he says (Jn 20:27).
Jesus didn't appear exactly like he did here on earth John (who new him personally), says he looked "like the Son of Man". We know it is Jesus based on verse 18, so Jesus in a way resembled what he looked like here on earth.
On the same day Jesus was raised from the dead, He not only appeared to Mary Magdalene outside the garden tomb (John 20:14-17), but to two disciples as they walked from Jerusalem to the city of Emmaus (Luke 24:13-31).

26 kwi 2019 · Jesus longs to be with us. He desires an eternal relationship with us. His perpetual appearances after His resurrection prove it. His death and resurrection weren’t going to keep Him from the ones He loves. It didn’t stop Him then, and it doesn’t stop Him now.
There was something hauntingly mysterious about Jesus’ appearances after his Resurrection. The Gospels give testimony that Jesus did indeed return to life on Easter Sunday, but to a life that was much different.
26 maj 2004 · Considering Jesus’ clothes were taken from Him when He was crucified (John 19:23-24), and that the linen cloths which were used in His burial were lying in the tomb (John 20:6-7), Jesus likely was wearing clothes that made His exact identity less conspicuous at first glance.
