End of the day all of us are professionals and deserve to be paid well (and probably all the doctors and pilots more than they do haha) but I'll personally never compare a pilot to a doctor (and as a dirty rotor guy am lucky to be accidentally called a pilot not a Bell Driver and invited to the party by mistake).
Every flight is different and requires different skills from pilots. It’s like saying a doctor just does the same thing over and over again, because they just do check ups, when in reality, each patient is different. Pilots aren’t obviously the brightest folks on the planet, but it does require skill and solid amount of knowledge and training.
