The 757-200 is almost the perfect airplane. It's incredibly balanced, has no real bad habits, and can take a full load out of Mexico City or similar hot and high places on a 6 hour leg without breaking a sweat. I'm so glad I have the chance to fly it, especially knowing that its days are numbered.
As an airline pilot I have lots of fun at work but what am I contributing to the world? I'm literally a number on a seniority list. I could up and die and it wouldn't even cause a blip in the operation, they would have someone off reserve in 2 hours to take my place.
