7 maj 2022 · La Quinta, CA--The US AM Tour held the annual Western Amateur Championship this past weekend at PGA West Golf Club's Stadium and Nicklaus Tournament Courses. The competition and courses were amazing in spite of windy final round conditions.
The Western Amateur Championship had it's largest (and most talented) field in the tournament's history. Jonathan Minkoff of Los Angeles, the North & South Major Champion, claimed the overnight lead thanks to a solid round of 4-under par 68 on the Stadium Resort Course - ultimately the best 18-hole score all weekend.
