Prime Video feels like a scam. I already pay for the website and have been doing so for 2+ years, they sometimes used to show advertisements before the movie/tv show began but with was usually about their own content and not some product, plus there was a skip option.
This is nothing but fleecing the customer. If they declare that the Prime membership doesn't cover Video and you have to pay a nominal monthly fee, that is at least agreeable since you get a choice of things to watch if what you planned turns out to be trash.
