Basically, a "friend" messaged me, telling me to vote for his csgo team, then sent me a link. Except, the link was not a https link(just http) and that it was something like we-play.tv instead of the authentic weplay.tv . Knowing it was a scam, I called him out for it and he immediately blocked me.

If so, the caller could be located just about anywhere in the world and you would never know it. Most of the spam calls you receive are likely using spoofed numbers to operate scams.
19 mar 2024 · I got an friendrequest from one of them and a link to their discordserver -> WePlay.gg. We didnt click on any links for obvious reasons so they gave us the direct address and joined their call. Three guys, very friendly and one of the allegedly a streamer.
